Welcome to the Owl N' Thistle. Seattle's home away from home. We want you to enjoy yourself here. The Location was opened in 1930 as a cafeteria called the Colman Lunch. It remained virtually unchanged, catering to downtown office and retail workers and ferry commuters.n 1991 it was taken over by a spunky Scotswoman named Bonny McGregor and renamed it "The Owl N' Thistle Pub".

Owl 'N' Thistle is a casual little Irish pub tucked away on narrow Post Avenue, on the fringe of Pioneer Square , and it clearly encourages its slightly clandestine atmosphere.
