I had nothing but a positive experience here at Park Avenue and can assure you its not a scam, as I had the procedure done.
I was 20/50 and am now 20/10. My vision is crystal clear and i have no glares, blurriness, or halos. It did take a month to fully heal, but this is all stated ahead of time.
I would recommend doing this procedure if you want to have it done by the most qualified doctor!

I actually contacted Park Avenue Lasek by accident for a different eye procedure and I'm so glad I came across them! I ended up getting the procedure done elsewhere since Dr. Chynn was out of town, but then decided to move forward with getting laser eye surgery done here.
Dr. Chynn and his staff know what they're talking about. Period. Every question I've asked has been met with nothing but professionalism and a genuine desire for me to have all the info I need. All the staff members are friendly and I personally love Dr. Chynn. People may not get his sense of humor and be offended, etc. but I actually love it and think he's super funny, which helped alleviate any anxiety I may have had about the procedure. He is very efficient and as a result, doesn't b@!%!**t or beat around the bush, which I definitely appreciate.
p.s. What sealed the deal for me was the fact that Dr. Chynn PERFECTED this process. I mean, why go anywhere else when you can go directly to the person who perfected it? He does the surgery in a room that has glass walls, so that anyone walking outside can see it as well. Talk about super confident! That's what I would want from any doctor doing a serious procedure on me.

Last Thursday I went for my free consultation. From the minute I got there everyone was eager to help me, The staff was very friendly and anxious to answer all my questions. I even got to sit in an actual surgery. After seeing the surgery I was more relaxed about getting Lasek. It was amazing to see the girl who had Lasek done, minutes before she had 8.0 in both eyes, right after the Lasek was done she could see amazingly well! I met with Tarek, one of the patient coordinators and he broke down all the pricing and different packages with me. I got the Gold Package with high definition. They let me know that they will also correct my astigmatism! I also got to meet with Dr. Chynn so I felt even more confident! Everyone is really detailed about answering all of your questions and now I am so excited to get Lasek and get rid of my glasses!
Quality Care:
I went to Park Ave Lasek a few weeks as I was considering Lasek surgery. I am not originally from New York so I started doing the typical Google search to start my research. When I came across this eye clinic I thought is was pretty cool that they were the only non cutting surgery center with over 18,000 successful surgeries with zero surgical complications. My eyes are very important to me, so those statistics really mattered! The staff is really nice. Dr. Emil is very intense which is what I like in a surgeon. I am a dietitian and I work with surgeons all the times. You need a certain personality to be a surgeon and I want someone who knows what they are doing. Hopefully, I will be getting my surgery next month and I feel that I am in capable hands.
