Park Forest Police Department

The men and women of the Park Forest Police Department serve the Village of Park Forest, Illinois, a Chicago suburb lying in both Cook and Will Counties.

The Police Department's main functions are the preservation of public peace and order, the prevention and detection of crime, the apprehension of offenders, and the protection of people and property. Together with the public's help we will keep Park Forest a safe and friendly place to raise our children.

From it's inception in 1949, the Park Forest Police Department has grown to a state of the art law enforcement agency that employs 42 sworn officers.
