Do not purchase these boilers:
PVI Industries of Fort Worth, Texas, has a side company called Riverside Hydronics. This company is a front company designed to offer customers boilers and water heaters for some residential applications, commercial, industrial, and institutional applications. About 10 years or so ago the Primera series of water heaters and boilers were released. These boilers were a series of copper fin tube boilers. The corporate staff, engineering, and other company officials knew these boilers copper fin tubing and other designs would not hold up because of many design and material problems. The copper fin tubing would deteriorate and result in leaks and so on. If you ever purchased one of these boilers, then your firm should contact PVI to demand that your boiler be replaced at product cost. My firm had a series of these boilers. Each boilers copper fin tubing failed. Those boilers were replaced after extensive legal action. I would not purchase any further boilers and so on from this company in the future. Paul Cecoli

Pvi equipment problems:
Pvi industries produced a series of water heaters and boilers starting around the late 1990s with a lining coded p10. P10 was designated by polymer 10. The installed lining was not sufficient to protect the carbon steel tanks, which included potable water and boiler water tanks, from being compromised by the natural minerals in water. Those tanks with this p10 lining were very prone to early failure. The company owner, engineering, manufacturing, and others at the company knew about this problem and other problem(s). Those p10 tanks were still sold to distributors and customer, which had to pay for problems when those p10 tanks failed. I know this because i worked in engineering. Signed sincerely, pc.
