Due to the manager, Rose, at this facility I had a an absolutely terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and find another place to do business with or she'll try to rip you off like she tried to rip me off. You've been warned.

Here is the whole story:

I rented a Penske Truck from her self storage site at 17932 Murphy Avenue in Irvine California. The next day she called me to tell me I had blocked their driveway and she had to get up early (at 7 am) and move the truck. I apologized, but told her I had parked the truck where I thought she told me to park it. I saw it as a simple misunderstanding.

She continued for a few more minutes to harass me about where the truck was parked then said she was going to charge me $100 because she had to get up early and move it. Really Rose? $100 because you had to get up at 7 am. How is that equitable? I explained to her that was unethical, not part of my contract, and I would not pay it.

When I saw the charge on my account the next day, I called Visa and had it reversed.

The reason sites like this have a review section is so consumers can pool their experiences. Good businesses get rewarded and bad ones get punished. I'm sure more of you have similar stories with this location. Make sure you post them here because if enough people do, maybe the owner of this location will realize how much damage Rose is doing to his business and will hire a manager that actually cares about his customers
