I brought in my computer to be diagnosed b/c I wasn't able to access some of the programs on the desktop. After several days, I was told it was a hard drive issue--a couple of the sectors were gone. I gave them the go ahead to replace the hard drive. I went in after about 3 days to find out if my computer was ready. At that time they brought out a technician to tell me that it now wasn't worth fixing the computer and that the computer series I had had documented problems. It was suggested to purchase one of the cooling pads-but that eventually the motherboard would need to be replaced also--hence the computer wasn't worth fixing. The tech was going to transfer my harddrive files to a disc, so I came back about a week later to p/u the computer and disc. Get the computer home, thinking at least I still have access to my webmail and a few other things. The monitor is black--no desktop--nothing. I read over the notes and it stated that the wireless didn't work and that the computer turned on intermittently plus a few other issues. ALL this issues were not evident when I brought the computer in. The service my the manager was poor. He was condescending and offered no explanation other than what was noted on the receipt. He stated that the problem was that I purchased a bad computer. All I know that I walked in with an operable machine and left with a useless machine. If these technicians were cognizant that there were known issues with the series I had--then they had an ethical obligation to let me know that beforehand. I won't be returning nor recommending this business.
