It was never broken, it was never fixed:
Cash registers need to be "Z" out at the end of every day. The employee of Marin General Hospital requested that we turn off the automatic end of day for some bizarre reason and then the employees of Marin General Hospital did not run the end of day.

Cash Registers can not operate that way.

We ALWAYS knew what the problem was. We told them repeatedly what the problem was and they took a long time to resolve the problem.

The problem was always that the button that says "PRESS HERE EVERY NIGHT" was not pressed every night.

Janelly De Long no longer works at Marin General Hospital and the problem has disappeared as well.

See the attached document from Marin General Hospital

Hello Mr. Kelly, I sent an email request for an opinion by Sutter's HR attorney, Mr. Jeff Frost, regarding your concern. Jannelly De Long terminated her employment with Marin General in 02/2008 and was a contracted employee through Sodexo for awhile, but is not longer working at Marin General or for Sodexo. Mr. Frost opined "the communication was not on behalf of MGH, it was a personal communication. This person was neither acting as a Representative of MGH nor does MGH endorse her statement or action. If the company has an issue with the statement they should address it with the individual."
Let me know if this is helpful to you.

They broke it now they won't fix it:
We purchased their registers last year, they seemed to be working just fine. Shortly aftwards we had a remodel and they came to unplug and reset up the system upon completion. However whent hey reset up the system, obviously not correctly. Now they barely function, receipts; forget about it, reports; dream on, correct cash z outs; what a joke. Then their techs can not even figure out what the problem is. 20 grand plus several fees for them to come out inthe tubes. The enron of pos systems.
