Karaoke is the name of the game at Peyote, part of an interconnected series of four other bars. Patrons love the pizza but belting out memorable rock anthems in front of 50 of your closest friends is what this place is all about. The bar staff and even Solomon, the owner, takes to the mic with his favorite tune, John Denver’s “Country Roads.”

"Get your karaoke on" at this no-frills basement bar in Adams Morgan where would-be crooners emboldened by "great drinks" belt out rock and pop hits while providing the crowd with some serious "people-watching"; yes, it's dingy and divey and you may "have to tip" the staffers to get your tune played quickly "once it's filled up", but most sing it's "always a good time."
