Well, I've finally found it! I've been in San Diego for 10 years and this is the authentic cheesesteak shop! Cheese Whiz, fried onions, and hot cherry peppers all on a Amoroso roll! After eating my steak I went back for a Tastykake and Water Ice. If you're from Philly or Jersey you gotta check this place out!

I was just transferred here from Philly. My work associates highly recommended Philly Franks. They are Right!! As soon as I walked in the door, I felt like I was back home in philly. A real cheesesteak here in San Marcos. Tasted Great and the fries are top notch. Everyone was really nice to me. Go Now for a great cheesesteak. Phillip

This place is so dirty.. just look at the people behind the counter.....I would not eat their again I saw a Cock Roach and when I brouht it to the ladies attention she told me it was a beatle and that they get them all of the time!
