Personally, I'll admit that I'm biased - I love oxtail soup and pho places that don't have it make me sad. :-( That in mind, there's much to love anyway about Pho Cafe, from the retro-chic modern decor, to the steady crowd of LA-ish 20- and 30-somethings to the fresh pho ingredients. The egg rolls were a little bit greasy, but not enough to keep my spouse from chowing them all down. Fast, efficient service.

"Silver Lake twentysomethings" hunker down over "plentiful" bowls of "hot, steaming" pho at this "hipster" Vietnamese tucked in a "nondescript strip mall"; there's "no sign", but it's "always packed" because it works for a "quick, cheap and delicious" meal; P.S. cash only.
