so L.A., but reasonably solid pho:
Personally, I'll admit that I'm biased - I love oxtail soup and pho places that don't have it make me sad. :-( That in mind, there's much to love anyway about Pho Cafe, from the retro-chic modern decor, to the steady crowd of LA-ish 20- and 30-somethings to the fresh pho ingredients. The egg rolls were a little bit greasy, but not enough to keep my spouse from chowing them all down. Fast, efficient service.

No booze, but homeless homies are gathering in the parking lot to pass you your Ripple. Eazy Does It! Orange décor accentuates asymmetrical haircuts and the latest in 'faux'-vintage. Thai beer, fresh ginger tea, and Vietnamese coffee make perfect chasers. Rambutan neighbor,...

Silver Lake hipsters line up to slurp Vietnamese noodle soup from lunch until late night.:
In Short
Rice noodles, wet and dry, are the staple of this affordable, trendy spot with its ultra-bright, ultra-orange retro look and young clientele. Classic pho soup is traditionally...

Information from the business

Those who know the ins and outs of Silver Lake certainly know about Pho Café. While it's not an attention-grabber—there's no sign, or any indication for that matter, pointing customers to this delicious Vietnamese restaurant, and the décor is extraordinarily simple—the menu is enough to convince locals to keep coming back. Traditional pho (rice noodle soup) and bun (cold vermicelli rice...
