Tips

Usually relegated to the same veggie burgers at every meal out, vegetarians finally get the rare opportunity of choice and lots of them at this vegan café in Chinatown. The massive menu is driven by astonishingly realistic mimic meats such as moo shu duck and complemented by tasty veggie fare like sauced up eggplant. Service switches from a buffet at lunch to a la carte at dinner (both very reasonably priced). Done up in cheery yellow tones, Pine Forest is further evidence that Chinatown is perhaps the city’s best destination for cruelty-free cuisine.

Parking:
Pine Forest is part of a shopping center with a large parking lot but spaces fill up fast at peak dinner hours.
