Charming, but.....:
I took my son into Video/Ice Cream world after school one day to get him an after school "treat". First, I have to start off by saying how wonderfully charming the 2 gentlemen that work there are! They are very accommodating and make you feel like you have known them forever.
So after my son and I enjoyed our ice cream, I packed up for us to leave. My son then informed me he needed to use the bathroom, but only living a couple blocks away I asked him if he could just hold it. He said fine and we went out to the truck. After getting him buckled in, I noticed we had been blocked in by 2 other vehicles. So I kindly asked one of the men if he knew whose it was. He said yes and asked her to please just back it up so I could get out. While waiting for the woman to back her van out, I noticed she had come outside and gone back in again without moving her vehicle.
By this time, my son was ready to pee his pants! So I turned my truck off and brought my boy back in to use the restroom. When I walked back in, the other gentleman asked me if I had forgotten something and I told him no, that the woman had not gotten to her van fast enough before my son REALLY had to go! I guess I offended the rude woman working behind the video counter, because after saying what I said, she proceeded to let me know (and NOT in a kind way) that, "she was just waiting for her to be off the phone, HELLO!" I could have cared less about the promptness of the woman moving her van, my concern was my son peeing in his pants! Even while trying to explain to her that in no way was I angry, she still wanted to be defensive and short.
Not only was she extremely rude to me, but this was not the first time she had lacked patients been "lippy". The last time I was in there, she had zero patients with the kids checking out the video games...silly me for thinking that it was a "family" establishment.
"All in all", if you don't have to rent a video or in any way deal with the woman who works in back, Video/Pizza/Ice Cream World is AWESOME. My only suggestion to them would be that if you want your business to flourish, try to have kind, kid friendly people with patients work there.
