Truly Great Dealership:
I've been driving Hondas for 30 years and have ALWAYS gotten my cars at Planet Honda ... sometimes buying, sometimes leasing, always trading in. Every single experience has been great. Additionally, until I moved from the area 7 years ago, I serviced my cars at Planet Honda (always happily). When I moved closer to Jersey City I started servicing my car at Metro Honda. I was overcharged, over-serviced and lied to. Even though it's a 30 minute drive, I've started servicing my car at Planet Honda again. It's welcoming, timely and comfortable. Yesterday I traded my car in for a brand new beauty. Peter was my salesman and I couldn't be more grateful for the way I was treated. I've walked into dealerships a zillion times and was ignored. Peter approached me (respectfully) the moment I started browsing new models. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that Peter was personable and informative, the managers were upfront and I got a great deal and was treated with respect. I will always be a Planet Honda customer.

No way!:
Looks like all these reviews wrote by the employees of that terrible dealership. If you talk to real persons you actually can hear only bad things. This dealership has awful reputation among customers. I am one of them. They do not give you a true copy of contract, it's mean they can altered after you sign it without your acknowledgment. They give you a false, deceptive information. They do everything to make you sign the contract after that you're trapped. Contracts limits your rights to ZERO. Please be very careful DO NOT sign anything what they try to give you as soon as possible. Also they have a general rule to not give to people their belongings, like driving license, unsigned title for your traid-in car to make you come back again and again. After you sign the contract they will show their real faces. They can rise voice on you, insult you ect. You can visit them and see it youself. Anyway best of luck.
PS: They actually damage my new car BEFORE delivery. They has my deposit that I tried to get back but can't since I sign their contract. Now car is still ufixed and my sales person do not return my phone calls and messages. Other managers do not respond as well. And the GENERAL MANAGER IS ALWAYS ON MEETING. How is it possible?

My car leasing experience with planet honda dealer:
I am writing regarding an experience I am currently having with Planet Honda Dealer in Union, NJ and Hann Financial Service Corporation. I’ve received a letter from Hann Financial after I turned my lease in stating I was required to pay a disposition fee of $450. I was surprised, because I returned my vehicle in pristine condition and well under the mileage limit. When I called Hann Financial to inquire about the fee I was advised that it was in the contract. Hann Financial instructed me to contact the originating Honda dealer to waive this disposition fee.
After several phone conversations with little cooperation, I visited the Planet Honda location. While there, I had a conversation with Kelsey Moore, the Finance Director. I explained to Mr. Moore my concerns over the contract that I signed with Planet Honda when agreeing to lease the vehicle. At the time of signing, a Mr. C. Martino, with the title of Controller, did not disclose that fee to me. Mr. Martino clearly outlined all other elements of the contract that I was about to sign with the exception of the disposition fee. In response, Mr. Moore stated that the disposition fee cannot be waived because I had refused to purchase this vehicle or re-lease a new vehicle. Additionally, he stated that I have no proof that the disposition fee was never initially discussed.
I have had no resolution to this issue with Planet Honda or Hann Financial. All terms and conditions, especially conditional fees, should be clearly outlined and explained at the time of purchase to let the buyer be aware of these charges. This means of conducting business is under handed with the intent to coerce buyers into additional contracts. It is a shady business practice for Honda to profit off of the customers who choose not to re-lease with you. The misguided actions of Planet Honda Dealer and Hann Financial reflect very poorly on the reputation of American Honda Motor Corp. At this point, I have no intention of purchasing, leasing or even driving a Honda vehicle again in my life. Additionally, I currently intend to ensure that nobody I know will do business with Honda either.
I have done some research and have found many other complaints about the disposition fee being buried in the contract and the buyers not knowing about the fee until they have returned their vehicles.
Because of these circumstances, I’ll never work with either the originating dealer or with Hann Financial ever again. WORST COMPANIES EVER! Avoid them at all costs! I hope that the state Attorneys General, Consumer Affairs groups and others take a close look at what they are doing.

worse dealer on 22:
Well after being mislead by rafael castiblanco from a 500$ monthly payment to a 650$ monthly payment ! I was told 500 the first day and being that i didnt have the full deposit that day i was able to go home in a 2012 crosstour and come back 2 days later to bring the remaining balance and finish off my paperwork. So im sitting with the very pleasant levi from finance. And hes going through the details and says 650.. Right away i had him contact rafael. Which agreed he had said 500 at first. So at this point im ready to blow a gasket and mentioned several times i wanted to cancel and im not signing nothing. To make a long story short . This technique of scamming people into "deals" is absurd. Obviously they let me walk away thinking one thing as a happy new driver of a newer vehicle. Yet 2 days later they hit you with different numbers knowing that consumers are liking their new purchase and will majority of the time continue with the process like myself. But i did not settle for 650 instead i walked with a 580 monthly payment which is managable but insane. I thought route 22 honda was bad, planet honda stole the cookies with this 1. Not even superman in their commercials can save them. Rafael castiblanco lacks communication skills and just uses evasive and manipulative words to distract buyers from the money part of things. Of course its all nice and dandy at first trying to convince you to test drive a car without even explaining numbers or running your credit. Once they see your interest level in a car they have got you. Castiblancos service was horrible / rude / and at times gave off bad body language after i bought up certain questions pertaining to payments and apr. After this disaster of day ! I figured i would ask for some new h onda carpets or some kind of goodbye gift so i asked jaime i dont know whats his roll in all of this. I asked jaime for some kind of "sorry for the inconvenience gift", and needless to say i walked out of the place with a key chain. I will never ever recommend anyone to any of the honda dealers on route 22. Rafael castiblanco gets a thumbs down from me if i can rate this less than a star i would ! And i will continue to leave bad ratings for this steal(deal)ership and castiblanco. Any questions feel free to contact me ! Honda ! You have all my info !
