Surveyors say they're "pleasantly surprised" by the "sophisticated" Eclectic gastropub fare like truffle burgers and fried Cornish game hen coming out of this otherwise "unassuming" Pasadena cafe set in modern-industrial digs with full table service at night; some find the food and hospitality only "so-so", but "great value" compensates.
Old Town Pasadena isn't the hippest spot in L.A. County, but it might be the busiest. Definitely the most line-ridden (especially the entire block surrounding the Cheesecake Factory).
