Potato Creek Johnny stood a mere 4'3", but dressed in buckskins and sporting a full beard, he was the epitome of the old-time prospector. He soon became one of Deadwood's premier tourist attractions, and spent the rest of his years happily entertaining visitors to Deadwood, and panning for gold.
