Good beer, good food, good service, and good prices—for a casual meal, it's hard to beat this cheerful restaurant on the town square. In addition to burgers, chili, fish-and-chips, and British-style bangers and mash, vegetarian pot-pies and salads are on the menu. Ponderosa IPA and Lodgepole Light are two popular microbrews; fresh-baked beer bread comes with many entrées.

Popular primarily with a younger crowd, this brewpub keeps a good selection of its own beers on tap, but its cheap and filling meals are just as sought after. Fajitas are a specialty, along with such pub standards as fish and chips, bangers and mash, and not-so-standard spent-grain beer-dough pizzas and vegetarian dishes. The Caesar salad with chipotle dressing packs a wallop.
