Precision Landscaping Inc is located at 106 Kurland St in Wayne and has been in the business of Landscape Contractors since 1984.

I want you to trust me 100% on this review. Precision Landscaping of Wayne, NJ is the Worst contractor I’ve ever dealt with in my life. It all started in Summer 2011 when the owner wrote his estimate to add 4 new steps to our house. The 4 steps were promised to help my Mom with her ailing knee as the 3 we had were to steep for her to climb. Well, we agreed to his estimate and concern for our needs. The work was finished to only come home from work to see 3 new steps added to our House **Surprise** Not the 4 we agreed to. The owner said it was impossible to put 4 steps on our house. We were lied to and the owner can not and does not know how to write an estimate. The owner for picking the stone he recommended in the 1st place blamed us, the customer, for His mistakes. Our experience was horrible right from the start and is still haunting us to this day for hiring Precision Landscaping. The entire set of steps has been falling apart ever since it was built. Precision used play sand on the top level of our steps to hold in the paver stones which of course washed away. They had to come back and redo the entire top step and use the proper jointing sand to make it correct and safe. I would say anything they could do to save a buck was most likely tried for sure since the entire set of stairs eventually fell apart. (See Photo’s). The top steps started to fall forward, the sides started to fall away from the steps. The only thing holding our steps together was the banister leaning on our front window frame; otherwise it would have been down sooner. Individual steps started falling off, one, which bruised my ankle, nice black and blue. I called and emailed the owners in Jan 2015 to tell them about the steps falling apart to the point it needed total repair. We waited for April, 2015 to reach out a 2nd time now after the snow has melted. Precision Finally decided to show up in the last week of July 2015 to fix the mess we had. They only finished part of the job of course, just about every stone was cracked that held our banisters in place and they needed to return again. The banisters were cut out and planned to repair the stones and replace by Friday the same week. 3 weeks later, Precision didn’t even have the stones needed to fix our steps again. Precision sent a worker that did Not even know how to do the work, big Surprise. He ended up doing even More Damage to the steps. Now we had to wait for the owner to order a new lower base stone, which took tearing a huge part of the steps down to repair. Finally the day comes for our banisters to be put in, Finally. The poor metal worker almost falls because the steps were put in wrong and fell apart Again. Even the dumbest know glue calking will not stick to sand. Now, Guess what, they need to come back again and I’m not holding my breath it will be done correctly. I’m glad nobody was hurt on these stairs, especially my Mother who had complete knee replacement. Worst experience and headaches my Family ever had was hiring Precision Landscaping of Wayne NJ. Trust Me Please, You’ll thank me for it. I still feel these steps are dangerous. Thanks for reading. Hire Elsewhere…Trust me.

Sept 2nd, finally finished, stone fits horribly, didn’t expect good work anyway.
The owner just Doesn’t Care..Simple as that.
Sept 10th, Finally Finished.
Took Since April, almost 6 Months
Jan 22, 2018 Steps are falling apart once again..
Worst work I’ve ever seen.

DO NOT EVEN CALL! The owner while he answers all your call gives excuses for everything, I've contracted them to do a very large project which they have now put me off days and weeks every week for over 1.5 months. Ive had to cancel to house parties due to their lack of organization. DO NOT USE! If you need a recommendation use MJF Stoneworks 973-703-2532. They have done projects for me in the past but take only cash, worth every penny, Reasonable priced, really nice owner, responsive and quick and great turn around.
