Unprofessional Pharmacy Staff:
My experience with the Publix pharmacy staff at this particular store was a very unpleasant one this past weekend. I would expect any pharmacy staff to know what a "medicated douche" is and if it is carried by the store. When I didn't find one on the store shelves, I asked the 2 male pharmacy staff if they carried it behind the counter. After I interrupted their personal conversation, they gave me the response that if it wasn't on the shelf, they didn't have it. Neither offered to help me look for it. They weren't necessarily rude with their words, simply very unhelpful, avoidant, and seemingly ignorant of the product. Because of their dismissive responses to my questions and the personal nature of the product, I felt very uncomfortable explaining what it was or asking them for any other help, despite my need of pharmacy assistance. The store manager enlisted the help of the female produce manager and other female staff to do the pharmacy's job in helping me look for the product. Although I may grocery shop at Publix, I will take my pharmacy business where the pharmacy staff is more experienced and professional.
