Poor service very disappointed.:
From the start the owner wasn't very friendly. He verbally quoted me $649 but no written estimate. I called them a few days later to check on the car and He said they found some "bad pipes" and it would be an additional $300 for parts/labor. They never called me to tell me my car was done but instead I had to call them, again.
I got my car back and it started overheating so I took it back and they said I had a bad radiator and would be another $460 but I was pretty sure my radiator wasn't the issue so I told them not to do any work on it. Rick got angry and said, "Fine, just come get it out of here." I took it to Long Lake Auto and told them what PSAR said and told them I thought PSAR was wrong and immediately they said it could be the head gasket as that is very common for my car. He did a simple test that checked for carbon monoxide in the coolant system and said it was either a bad head gasket or bad head. They gave me a written estimate of all the work that would be performed with two prices: one for the head gasket, and another if the head was bad. They called me each time they needed to do more work and were very friendly the entire time.
Notice 2/3 of the 5 star ratings are by the owners brother and J. Brown a very close friend of the family.

Poor service and work:
This shop was horrible at identifying the problem and estimating the cost. They changed the price several times, costing more each time. Finally after they told me more stuff was broken, I took my car to another shop and found out that my real problem was something completely different. These guys are rude and incompetent. Stay Away!!!

Great shop!:
Have taken several different makes and models to PSAR for various work and will say we leave quite pleased with their shop service and customer service. We recommend them to our family and friends!

RE: Frustrated with this shop!!!!!:
Unfortunately, Ms. Lopez has not conveyed the entire story. We diagnosed the brake problem first because the steering wheel would shake when braking. This took care of that problem. She brought it back stating she still had the vibration. We drove it and the vibration in the wheel was no longer there. We took Ms. Lopez on a ride with the technician so she could point out the vibration, and it wasn't doing it. We drove the vehicle all around trying to recreate the issue and were unable. Within this we took Ms. Lopez home and picked her up multiple times, as we do with all our customers, along with the multiple test drives with her in the vehicle which we did not charge her for, and which she could never point out the vibration she was feeling. We're sorry she feels we did not take care of her, but we believe we did everything we could to take care of her and the problem with the vehicle.
