Horrible Customer Service - Defect and Malfunctioning Equipment - had to take car in 4x DO NOT SHOP HERE:
purchased a car stereo system from Quality Auto Sound in Aurora on Chambers on 2/11/2011. Prior to the purchased of the Pioneer Stereo and Computer Mount Kit from Quality Auto Sound, the stereo and computer unit worked flawless, but our CD player was not working hence the reason we purchased a new stereo unit. Since 2/11/2011 we had to take our car back to Quality Auto Sound to repair or replace the equipment we purchased from them 3 times. The stereo would work for a week and then then nothing would operate. I took my car in 3 times for the exact same problem between 2/11/2011 and 3/18/2011. The also did not reinstall my car panels properly at anytime. Still to date there is a panel of my car they removed and did not properly reinstall. The last time occurring on 3/18/2011, I went upset that we had to take our car back 3 times in less than 60 days to make repairs or have equipment replaced. I spoke to Chris the store manager, who is very arragnant and unprofessional, along with his fellow co-workers who all very clearly lack professional. I told him that I did not feel it was right for us to have to bing our car back to have a stereo replaced or repair 3 times in just over 30 days and that my time was money and my time is valuable. To which he responded that he made $50 an hour and so what. (mind you he looked like he was recently in prison for petty crimes and a low paying comission based job was the only hope for his future.) He then continued to state they would not refund my money. They would repair or fix the problem for a year. He assumed it was a computer malfunctions. Openly admitted that they sell products that are known to have malfuntions or defects. Then made me wait 3 hours while they worked on our family of 5, only car on a Saturday ruining our plans for the weekend. When they pulled my car out of the shop and my equipment was working, I noticed that there was fluid leaking from under my car which had not been leaking prior to it going into their shop for my stereo equipment to be worked on. Later that day our car overheated and it appeared that our coolant had been drained , which is something we check and refill on a regular basis. The stereo worked for an entire 24 hours and as of 3/20/2011, currently no longer works. When I called the store today 3/20/2011, the store manager Chris stated that he would have to more than likely order another part and they would have to replace or repair the unit for the 4th time. Then stated that it is probably not their equipment but our cars computer system. We told him that we do not feel that we want to do business with them any longer and requested they remove the unit and properly install our stock system back in our car and return our money. He said they would not return our money but would happily repair again or give us store credit. When I told my husband the reply from the store, he stated that he “would take the car in one last time and if it happen again he was going to get his money back, if they liked it our not even if that meant he had to contact the BBB and a lawyer.” Chris the store manager then stated he will not work with us any further because he felt physically threatened by Andrew for making the prior statement and refused to give me a number for his superior or district manager. When I contacted other locations they also refused to give me a number for the district manager. I called the Littleton location and the Lakewood location. When I called the Lakewood office I spoke to Ernie, who stated that his store in Lakewood was the district or regional office and he could not give me the number for a district manager, but he would call the vice president Robert Valdez, find out how to deal with this and get back to me on the same day 3/20/2011. I have not gotten any response back as of yet and it is close of normal business hours 5pmMST.
Since this I took my car to an auto shop and had a dignostic test run on my car and it’scomputer which cost me $95. The test turned up nothing defective or any malfunction the computer in my car and the only thing wrong with my car was breaks which needed to be replaced and oil which needed to be changed. Neither of which is related to the stereo system in anyway. And there where no leaks in my hose to the coolant system that would cause over heating. In doing more research it would seem I am not alone.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureu. I just want them to do the right thing and return our money. I also do not want this to happen to anyone else and want them exposed for who they are and what they do which is scam you. They need to be exposed!

I had a remote start installed and have had nothing but trouble. I have taken it back to them 2x and it still locks and unlocks when it wants, the key will not come out of the ignition, the horn honks when you unlock the car and they will not fix it. they are rude everytime I go in. This last time I called and told the guy I was still having trouble, he said "the red rodeo, again"? I said yes. He asked if I could bring it in on tuesday so he could have a certain guy look at it. I did, he wasn't there and the guys that were there wouldn't touch it. I took off 2 jobs to get this car in so that they could fix it, and they would not touch it. My husband said they were rude to him last time too, so take the loss and pay someone who knows what they are doing to fix it. I will never buy another thing from them, or recommend them to anyone else. Their customer service is terrible and the people that work there are terrible. It is never their fault the installation does not work. Since they installed it, who's fault is it!
