Rude People - Poor Product:
I recently worked as a contract pilot for a corporate flight department that used Quality Resources for its manuals. I have to say that these manuals were not very well done. They had far too much content and when we asked to slim it down some lady said that if we wanted to be a quality flight department we should follow best practices. Quite frankly the woman who owns the company is always rude and never returned our phone calls. It took months to get our revisions back from them. About 4 months ago a few people from their office came to our facility to help us “prepare” for our IS-BAO audit and they were all smug and arrogant. The lady with short hair and really thick glasses was mean and rude to our Director of Operations, I think her name was Lucy or something. After they left our Director said that he wished they had used a different manual provider because she was so rude to him. As a contract pilot I have flown with several flight departments and seen quite a few manuals, Quality Resource’s manuals were nothing special and their customer service left a lot to be desired.
Advice to other flight departments: choose a different company to write your manuals, this one is substandard and provides poor service.
