Mr. James Sunghoon Lee performed a repair on my home dishwasher. Based on his recommendation, I agreed to have the circulation pump and motor assembly replaced. Mr. Lee performed the work for $375 on 10/8/2021. Once completed he told me the dishwasher was tested, and it was leak free. Later that day I started the dishwasher and almost immediately water began pouring onto my kitchen floor from the bottom and sides of the dishwasher door. I contacted Mr. Lee asking for a refund. He said he would provide a refund if I turned over the new motor/pump assembly. On 10/9/2021 I removed the motor/pump assembly and left it on my front porch for pick up. Also, on 10/9/2021, I went to Lowe's and bought a new dishwasher. On 10/10/2021, Mr. Lee stopped by my house, picked up the new motor/pump and later texted me saying I had given him the old and bad motor/pump assembly original to my dishwasher and would not be refunding my money. This is not correct. I just bought a new dishwasher; I do not have a need for dishwasher parts for a dishwasher I replaced. I then put the old motor/pump on my porch for pick up to try to get a refund. At this point, Mr. Lee stopped communicating with me. Mr. Lee is dishonorable and does not stand behind his work. He has chosen to hide thinking this will blow over, and I will give up. I have contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. The BBB acknowledged my complaint and confirmed they will be contacting Mr. Lee. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Diversified Electronics & Appliance Repair or Quick TV Repair. Attached are photos of the old and new motor/pump assemblies. After complying with Mr. Lee's request I have still not received my refund.

DON’T EVER USE: Sunghoon Lee doing business as either Quick TV & Appliance Repair or Diversified Electronics & Refrigeration. Mr. Lee was called to our home to repair our Kenmore Elite Washing Machine. I spoke with Mr. Lee to apprise him of the problem and inquire as to his ability to do the necessary repair to which he responded, “Yes, that is what I do, no problem.”

It turns out however that Mr. Lee was the problem. Sunghoon Lee has no business holding himself out as an expert in the repair of any/all appliances. Not only was Mr. Lee unable to diagnose the problem with the machine, he did not even know how to dismantle the unit to make an inspection. Rather, Mr. Lee had to pull a life line from How to Be A Millionaire and decided to “phone a friend.” Mr. Lee’s friend had to talk him through the inspection – and I had to loan him the right tools to use!!! Having spent an hour at our home trying to diagnose the problem, Mr. Lee asked for payment of his $45.00 fee and stated he was “pressed for time” and promised he would later in the day when he could spend more time on this repair.

Upon his return all he did was look at the washing machine and advise he had several options he could pursue to TRY to resolve the problem, at an additional cost of $150 to start! Having become painfully aware that Sunghoon Lee is a COMPLETELY INCOMPEDENT and UNSKILLED/UNTRAINED service technician with no factory certifications of any kind to his name we advised him his services were no longer needed. We requested he refund our money since this service call was clearly outside the scope of his abilities to which he refused. When we asked for a copy of his business license and a receipt for the payment made to him, he refused. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS INCOMPEDENT BAFOON. RUDE … RUDE … RUDE…
