R Lounge at Two Times Square

No matter what time of day, the views from R Lounge (voted Best Scenic View by OpenTable diners) are spectacular both inside and out. Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking panoramic views of Times Square, this new NYC lounge and bar comes as a welcome oasis and stylish escape from the hustle and bustle of Times Square.

If $14 cocktails don't turn you off, then the Enlightened Mojito rises to the occasion. Wine by the glass is served in quartinos and starts at $13.

Though a reservation probably isn't necessary, if you do make one, request a table at the front of the restaurant, where views are best.

Go-to resto for revitalized Renaissance Times Square hotel. Menu is staunchly American and visitor-friendly, but you're hear for the narrow-edged view down below. Not so much a secret that there's a table available for New Year's Eve, but otherwise a nice surprise and a hard-to-beat vantage for neon gawking.
