Mario Maglieri, Lou Adler, and Elmer Valentine founded the restaurant in April 1972. Mario has maintained the Rainbow as the top spot for music legends to hang out night after night since the '70s. It's still one of the most popular hangouts on the Sunset Strip today.

Know Before You Go: Everyone knows that the Rainbow's pizza is worthy of any metal god's mouth.

Look Good: For some real '80s mullet action, head upstairs to the nautical-themed bar with a dance floor.

This is the best place in the area to have a drink and eat out as well. I have been here with a lot of my friends and they have nothing but praises for this place.
