caters to tatste for oversauced food, overcooked vegs:
Poor quality Chinese food, but convenient and adequate for fast food and delivers to local workplaces. The specials for the combination platter feature too many heavily sauced items. Even the dishes cooked to order tend to have overcooked vegetables--definitely not up to the quality standards of many simple Chinese takeouts. The place definitely seems to cater to a certain kind of "American" taste for soft vegetables, thick gooey sauces, batter-fried dishes with sugary sauces, and too-large meals. Several of the soups sampled are of very poor quality and not fresh tasting. The restaurant could be improved if it offered smaller portions of individual dishes--not part of a combo and not with soup or extras--but focused preparing them well, not overcooking, not using thick gooey sauces.
