About Us: The RALEIGH ROAD OUTDOOR THEATRE (Originally the MOON-GLO) is an historic drive-in theatre that has served North Carolina residents since 1949. The Raleigh Road Outdoor Theatre first opened on July 15, 1949 as the Moon-Glo Theater. The first film to show at the Moon-Glo was: "Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves", plus three color cartoons.
