Ralph WM. Burgess, DDS

Ralph Burgess was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. He is son of a railroad worker and a mother whose life has been dedicated to her family. While attending Carman High School his dreams were to one day be accepted to the University of Michigan Dental School program. Through hard work and dedication, Dr. Burgess worked various jobs to fully put himself through school and help support his wife and young child. No job was too big or too small for him to handle, anything from playing guitar at the local pubs, working with his family on the railroad, and janitorial services are some examples. In 1981 Dr. Burgess earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Michigan. He quickly returned to his roots to set up his practice in Flint, Michigan (2 miles from his childhood home). Word quickly got out that the local boy was back and business started flowing in. Growing up in a large family in Flint, everyone is considered family. Dr. Burgess has taken this philosophy to his practice and personally cares for each and every one as if they were. In his spare time, Dr. Burgess enjoys hunting, watching U of M Football, running, cross country skiing, and of course, spending time with his family.
