From the menu you can choose three different miso flavors (heavier-tasting, light-tasting, and heavy-plus-sweet) so you know what you're getting into. Though the hearty soups can leave you uncomfortably full, their price is nearly half of their competitors, making Misoya that easy-yummy-cheap dinner spot.
