I have been a 15 year customer and usually got mediocre service with high prices. But this is typical for franchise outlets so I used them sparingly. 2 years ago I took my 1970 classic there to have the alternator replaced. Don recommended upgrading it. 700 dollars later, I only drive it once or twice a month until it gave out. Since it was out of time on the warrenty I took it to another garage in order to avoid another bad experience. They concluded the wire was not tightened by the shop that installed it causing it to prematurely short out. I asked if it could have shook lose over time and they said no. I returned to Ramona and Don shook his head and said he could do nothing. I didnt expect much, but since it was clearly his shops fault, he didn't even offer an oil change or a discount on tires. Oh well, someone else will enjoy my business. If I sue, I think its only a 30% chance I will prevail. I may pursue out of principle and to show them its never good business to blow off loyal customers.
