Disappointed-Did not back up there work:
I just purchased a new home and had a strong gas smell coming from the garage. The gas company came out and told me the water heater had a gas leak on one of the joints. They gave me Ray's number saying he is a reliable guy. I called, they sent a guy that works for Ray out the next day. The guy was nice but clearly did not know what he was doing. He tightened the joint that was leaking and put pipe dope on the outside of joints to "make sure" nothing else leaked.
The smell got better but was still there. I had to call another person and they found the joint was stil not tightened enough and asked "Why did they put pipe dope on the outside? That does nothing." He tightened the joint completely and the smell is now gone. I called Ray to get a refund and they said no.
Long story short- they took my $80 service charge and would not back up there worker. They also wouldn't give me an invoice for the job! Now he ignores my calls. DO NOT USE RAY'S HEATING & AIR!!
