I wouldn't even recommend this management company to someone I didn't like very much. They are slow to respond to maintenance requests (it seems as if they are hoping we will forget that our a/c isn't working), assess large fees that other management companies do not (I've asked around), and are generally VERY rude to tenants. Most management companies are at least interested in keeping up the appearance that they want tenants to be happy. The people at Recar are not.

I have been using Recar & Associates for 2 years now as a property management company to manage my property. There are alot of fees deducted each month that seem bogus and very dishonest and not genuine and seems to come out of nowhere. It's really hard to find a good property management company as it seems like most of them are greedy and just want your money like Recar & Associates. They do try to pass off the bill to the owners on some stuff that the tenants should pay for because they live there but I ended up paying. I don't recommend them at all and am planning on switching property management companies if I can ever find a good one in the Austin area.
