The founders of Recess Time Sports Leagues have experienced competition at a high level, two having played NCAA competition in sports such as field hockey and softball, and bring that intensity to their recreational leagues.

With over 5000 players competing in 2006, the fields, gyms and bowling alleys of Portland were flooded with 20, 30, 40 and 50+ somethings all looking to connect with nostalgic social recreational activities.
