Red 7

Red 7 has a huge teenage and twenty-something fan base. Mainly a punk, metal, rock and indie based venue, it's also very much a happening nightclub. Everyone is allowed in but to access the bar one has to be at least 21. The venue can also be rented for events, parties and concerts.

The venue takes its name from its location on Seventh Street, just a few doors east of Red River Street.

Although Red 7 is officially open every night of the week, occasionally it will stay dim on a weeknight when no show or event is scheduled.

This "badass punk rock" and metal venue off Downtown's Red River Street gets props for its "intimate" setup with "stages indoors and out"; sure, it's "divey", but the "efficient" staffers deliver "cheap" drinks "fast", and devotees say "once you pass under the hammer and sickle" signage, "you can't help but share the love."
