La Fiesta Grande opened here on Colorado Boulevard thirty years ago. I was reminded of that recently when talking to a couple having dinner with their two young children. They lived nearby in Madison Heights. The Mother told me that she had come to La Fiesta Grande with her parents. Later I reflected on that conversation.
