best place to stay when in town for a convention:
Closest nice place to the convention center. Stayed at the Doubletree up the street before and think the Red Lion is much better. Windows that open, better service, close walk to the MAX Rail. Our friends staying that the Doubletree would stash their stuff in our room because it was closer!

Across the street from the convention center and adjacent to the MAX, this hotel is convenient for both business travelers and tourists. It provides a few more on-site amenities than some of the other hotels right by the convention center, which is reflected in its slightly higher rates.
