Red Onion is Washington DC's top spots for records and books. Opened in 2006, this independent store buys, sells and trades vinyl records, CDs and LPs. Browse through their ever-updated collection that ranges from the 1950s to the present day. Popular music styles available include everything from rock, punk, pop and country, to jazz, blues, folk and indie.

Red Onion Records & Books has been a long-time vision for owner, Joshua Harkavy. A native of Long Island, New York, Josh cultivated a passion for collecting music and books from immersing himself in the garage sale scene in New York.
