Ripped off by Redline Automotive in Dave:
I was promised an engine rebuild in 4-6 weeks. After waiting 10 weeks and no calls, I asked for an update by email. The next day I received a call saying that my deck needed resurfacing and I needed a line hone done and that my block steam holes were cracked. I became suspicious because these services are generally done right at the beginning of an engine build and then my worst nightmare came true. Rich was just now getting started on my block after 10 weeks of sitting in his warehouse. At that point I started questioning him about the work and he was not happy about that. After making me wait, he got angry and cancelled the work and then told me to pick up the parts. After getting there and collecting my parts they damaged the polish work on my heads, lost my head studs and did not perform the work as he described. He also charged me for measurements that needed to be done over by the next engine builder. This company is a joke and Rich has a very sensitive character. He makes you wait, then once he knows you need your engine he charges you more money and tells you that you need more services and if you question him he gets angry and tells you to pickup up your stuff. This guys character is very sensitive and he is a tricky person in my opinion. Stay away from this company.
