Genuine Support and Encouragement:
I have been a member of this gym for several years and I have always felt that the staff genuinely cares for the people that come here. They have given me support when I've needed it and celebrated any and all progress I have made. They have been understanding with me when I have had financial difficulties and have made arrangements with me to stay an active member while I work things out. I would encourage any woman interested in joining a gym in Yelm to come in and experience what this place is truly about.

We love our clients!!!:
We at Reflexions wanted to respond to the letter that Meri posted on this page. Though her letter does in fact have some truth to it - the intent was never to hurt her feelings. We were simply trying to explain to her that we do our best to keep the sauna as hot as possible and as clean as possible. As we explained to her at the time, we were not asking anything of her that we do not ask of all our patrons/employees. When we realized she misperceived our intentions she was given a sincere apology, which she said she accepted -and she continued to use the services following that resolution. It is unfortunate that she is still upset and we hope that future clients will be willing to try our great services for themselves and see why there are 100's of happy clients with us today. Please visit our website at reflexionsfitness.com to see if there is anyway we can be of service to you!

Not happy at all!:
I have been a member of this gym for 3 years. I just learned it recently changed owners. I had always been happy with the facility and staff there. Recently they added a 2-3 person infrared sauna. After receiving my first sauna for free for renewing my contract, I purchased 20 1/2 hour sessions for $108.00. After 2 visits the sauna was only 118 degrees compared to 131 degrees before. I mentioned this to one of the owners and she gave me about 5 different excuses why it was not hot and why I did not sweat. I let it go and the next time I was in I talked to the other owner about the temperature. I was not angry or rude, just a little dissatisfied with the temperature. She also gave me some excuses, among them being that they had no control over the temperature?? I continued to go and the temperature actually was fine after that. I did mention to one of the girls who work there that I felt they should give me credit for the two visits that I felt were a waste of time and money. I asked her to have someone call me regarding that. They never did. This morning I went in for another sauna and was treated very rudely. I arrived early and the co-owner stated she didn't know if the sauna was up to my standards yet. I laughed it off and stated that was fine, I knew I was early. A few minutes later she told me I could go in. I had to rent a towel because I had forgotten mine. They are a dollar each to rent. She told me I would need two. One to wrap around me and one to sit on. I told her I only needed one because I sit sideways on the bench with my feet up and I do not wrap a towel around me. She asked why I always had to argue with her about everything. I tried to explain again how I sit and why I would only need one. She walked away making comments under her breath and told me fine, just dont touch anything in there. I went in the sauna, again the temperature was fine. I spent the entire time though, thinking about how I had just been treated. When I got out I asked the girl at the front desk about their cancellation policy and then asked the owner what her comments and attitude towards me were all about. She told me she was only joking but that they felt like they just could not do anything to please me. I was really taken aback by that. Like I said, three years of being in that gym and I had never once complained about anything. Now all of the sudden I am some problem member who cant be pleased? I tried to explain that I did not understand where she got that idea and she said that every time I go in there I complain about the sauna. That is simply not true. She again told me how they cannot control the temperature and that the sauna is not meant to run all day, that they should turn it off to let it cool down every two hours. I kind of told her that was not my fault, that I had paid money to use the sauna and I felt like it should be hot like it was the first two times I used it. She told me they never told me it would continue to be that hot. I feel like maybe they purchased an inadequate suana for their business. Then she stated it was their policy that you had to have two towels in the suana. I had never heard that before. I again told her how I sit in the suana and she stated she has no real way of telling how I am sitting in there. I assured her I was not some rebellious child who would go in there and sweat all over the sauna when other people have to use it too. She said I am also a full grown woman and she did not see how I could fit on a bench that small. I ended up walking out on the verge of tears. I had just rejoined for another year last month. Now I dont even feel like I want to go back in there, but I am committed to another year there. I can only get out of it if I can sell the membership. I would have a hard time recommending this gym so I think I will have a hard time selling it.
