Even at the worst hotels, I give better points if the staff is courteous and considerate...the staff, in particular "Peggy" the office manager, at the Rest Inn is one of the meanest, unhappiest, most argumentative, contrary people I have ever encountered in my life! If you call the office for anything; and have the misfortune of speaking with her, she will make you wish you had not called. If you go to the office for anything, she will do her best to not only go out of her way to make sure you are dissatisfied, she will resort to berating and verbally abusing guests in front of anyone/everyone in the office at the time. In a world where customer service is becoming the determining factor in the success and failure of even the largest business organizations, Peggy doesn't know or care about customers (guests) at all - and she will make sure you KNOW she doesn't care. The only person I felt sorrier for than the "guests" checking in, is the people who have to work with "Peggy."
