Don't Do It!:
Don't do it!
These people will sell you a scooter that's been shipped from China, thrown together as quickly as possible (No PDI done!) and put it on the lot to sell to you. Look at the mileage on these bikes; if there's less than 5 or 6, those miles were ridden by test drivers. Ricks does not bother to road test their bikes after un-crating! Don't buy one of these things, or you'll be sorry.
If you do buy one, or have purchased one elsewhere, don't even think about bringing it in for any repairs. These people are absolutely, positively and without a doubt, sub-standard in their mechanical aptitude. They'll let a high-schooler work on your bike (incorrectly, I may add - as in not performing the work you asked to have done) and you may not get all of your parts back.
Also, don't let them sell you into one of their big bore kits. Not only is it against the law to ride, without a license, but, they will tell you one thing and give you another. Their 80cc kits are actually 72cc's. Ricks doesn't bother with actual specifications. Whatever is on the Chinese parts box is what they will tell you it is. Simple mathematics will tell you otherwise.
In a nutshell, stay away from this place. It may look clean and they sell a lot of bikes but, how many of those are safe on the road, not to mention legal? Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable dealer, such as North End Cycle. Don't waste your money at Ricks. You'll be sorry, otherwise. I certainly am!
I give them a 1 star rating. And that's only because I can't take any away!
