Nice customer service...:
I had a prescription for a controlled substance. I get this controlled substance from a reputable doctor and have been going to him for a couple years now. Just recently my regular pharmacy ran out and informed me that they wouldn't be getting in for some time and to try rite aid. First I called and asked if they carried my script they informed me they couldn't tell me over the phone. So I went in and was ignored at the counter for a few minutes when the pharmacist did finally acknowledge my presence I asked if she carried the prescription and was told that no they weren't. She didn't even check. I was frustrated...I mean...why not tell me no on the phone...if they were worried about being robbed it wasn't going to change anything..who's going to rob a store who doesn't carry what they are looking for....but it was ok.

Later I find out from an rx indicator that rite aid did indeed carry the prescription in her store and one other locally. Now I do admit my eyes were puffy...I had been suffering a bit of a cold lately. But a business who judges their customers by their appearance without even a question or even a friendly explanation is not someplace I would deal with or recommend to my friends.

The sad fact is...this pharmacist had a real chance to gain more business...I've been considering changing my current pharmacy for some time now. I tend to spend money at my pharmacy a lot of the time I pick up my prescriptions.

By the way....to the pharmacist who made me feel like scum....I am a good person with a good, respectable job. I am educated. If I had come in wearing my usual attire and not half sick from my sinuses I suspect you would have probably admitted you carried the script I possessed or at least that you carried it but had none in stock. I'm glad I didn't though...because now I know what type of business I am dealing with. I'll be sure to pass that info along so others do now too.
