The Romano Family has been in the bar and restaurant business since the 1920s when Antonino Romano, an immigrant from Sicily, opened his first restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The restaurant is an exciting destination for travelers and Southern California locals. In 1994 Joe and Carmel sold the restaurant. In March of 2012 the Romano family took over the operation with the original menu and several family members on the staff.
