I recieved four estimates for the replacement of my roof on a 100 year old farm house with wrap around front porch. One company (Power Home Rem) from the start tried to pressure me into products I did not need, and only spent a few minutes outside to come up with an insane estimate. Two other companies provided decent estimates and were slightly cheaper then Rosedale, though clearly lacked items that would need to be done to complete the job, such as redecking the porch roof that had rotten boards and substandard decking. Dan Hendricks from Rosedale, not only included this in his estimate from the start, but actually got up onto the roof to do his estimate. That right there proved to me that the estimate would be very close to the final cost without many overruns. Though Rosedale was more expensive then the other two companys by about $1500, I chose to go with them since their estimate was more detailed, and that they promised to complete the entire project in one day. Through out the process Dan was great to work with keeping me uptoday on the scheduling of the work and what not. The day of the job, the crew showed up at 6:30 am and promptly got to work, there was no wasted time and everyone was doing something. By 3 pm, the entire house and porch was complete and the yard cleaned up. I read a couple reviews which dissed the appearance of the vehicles and the crew that arrived. Roofing is a dirty, labor intensive, cut throat business, yes the crew showed up in older vehicles, but why should that matter as long as the job is done properly. The crew was well manored and very polite and respectful of my property. I would recomend Rosedale to anyone who needs a roof done quickly, ask for Dan.

Terrible service. The 2 salesmen I dealt with made me feel like I was beneath them. They told me that all my work would be done by their trained master roofing mechanics. They showed up to my home in an old beat up pick-up truck with a trailer. None of the workers spoke English good enough to understand. I felt as though this company just sold the job and then gave it to another company to do for cheaper. I had several estimates done after they got my money. Every estimate that I received was at least half the price that I paid them. Get several estimates before committing to a contractor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I had Rosedale roofing come out to fully replace a roof and all rotted wood on the roof. They came out and replaced the roof but placed new plywood over soaking wet rotting wood which had old shingles and more rotting wood underneath it.

When I inquired if they removed the old wood they assured that they did and that they can send me pictures of it. Well the pictures never turned up. So I sent them video footage from my security camera of them placing fresh plywood over soaking wet wood that was on the roof. Is this the type of company you would like working on your house?

Only after many phone calls and me sending the videos did they agree that they were wrong and would come out and repair the roof, but then tried to charge additionally for removal of wood that was already included in my initial quote.

I wonder how many other customers of Rosedale Roofing are getting ripped off and have no idea. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I had several contractors give me an estimate. Out of those contractors Rosedale was in the top 3 who actually saw the same issue. They did not try to rob me with additional work. They did the work in a timely manner. Yesterday is the first time it has actually rained since the roof repair, so I will know when I get off the plane today if the repair was successful. I am also confident that if there is an issue they will respond and correct in a timely manner..
