TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE - Peter (the owner) promised to send me his "best" cleaners to go through a new place that we just purchased. Told me what I wanted to hear on the phone and then did not deliver. Charged me almost $150 to "clean" an EMPTY 1,100 sq ft condo. Basically , they did NOTHING. And when I say nothing , I really mean nothing ! The place was filthy and barely even a sign that they were even there. If it wasn't for the "Royal Maids" business card left on the countertop I would have never known they were even there. They had specific instructions on what to do and what to concentrate on and did NONE of it ! Then , when I came in later that week , the air conditioning was left on high (we had it off) , all the ceiling fans were on turbo, the bathroom toilet had been left running and EVERY light in the place was ON !! Now onto the cleaning ... or lack there of. It was a total joke ... Other than the appearance of the carpet being vacuumed , nothing else was done. I got billed 2 hours and it looked like they were in there for 2 minutes. The only slightly bright spot was their office manager Angela that did her best to listen to my complaints while the owner was "out of the country". She promised me a "partial refund" but that was 2 weeks ago and I haven't received anything. Angela came by to personally inspect the place the next day. I wish I had a picture of her jaw when it hit the floor. She was disgusted when she saw what Peter at Royal Maids called his "best crew". Her words were "disgusting" "unacceptable" "embarrassing" "unprofessional" and those were the best that she had to say. She also took pictures of what Peter's 2 hour cleaning looked like. Imagine an owner billing you at $75 an hour and then sending "his best crew" !! If you think any of this isn't true , ask Angela to look at the pictures she took of the cleaning job Peters Company did. This is the 1st of many reviews that I plan on posting about Royal Maids. I feel that I need to inform as many people as possible so they don't have to go through what we went through. Bottom line , look elsewhere when you need a cleaning crew. I know I'm not alone either because I see other pitiful reviews about Peter and his "professional" cleaning company. It was a waste of time and money.... DON'T USE ROYAL MAIDS !!
