What a mistake!:
My husband's new job is moving us overseas. Royal packed up our house on September 10 ... it is now November 13th and our things have yet to leave the states. Everything was sent to Houston and that was when Hurricane Ike hit. Okay - things are put on hold, that's understandable. Now we didn't know that out things were sent to Houston until later when I called for an estimate of when the shipment would get to Sicily. That's when I get told it went to Houston -- but get told that it was all sent back to Long Beach to be shipped out of there. It will be in Sicly by Halloween -- Halloween comes and goes - no shipment, so we call again. Now we get told that they needed the title to my husband;s motorcycle to send it (everything is still in the states) --- so my husband express mails the title to the address they give him so that our shipment can be shipped out on November 7th. Now why did it take them 6 weeks to ask for the title and why weren't we asked for it the day we packed out? Would have been easy to pull it from the files that day. Per the USPS website, the title is received on the 5th. Yet on 10th, Julio tells the shipper the title hasn't been received yet!!!! According to the actual shippers (the ones with the boats the crates will be loaded on) - they've had possession of the crates since they arrived in Houston in mid-September. Now our goods are supposed to be shipped out on November 18th --- but oh, it all has to be repacked and there are some items that "Customs" has pulled out of our shippment (we were in the Navy for 20 years and did multiple overseas shipments, we are pretty familiar with what can and cannot be shipped out). Julio spoke with my huband's company on the 10th and was supposed to call me that day about what the items are and make arrangements to send it back to me before I leave for Sicily Thanksgiving weekend. It's November 13th -- no call. Fortuantely, my husband's company called me today and asked how the rejected items would be handled -- so at least now I know about it. Don't use Royal unless you want problems -- lots of problems. Multiple stories, multiple lies.
