Roys - Eat there if you want to throw up!:
I dinned there in early Aug 07. I ordered a steak (only a few of those on the menu). They brought a steak with couple of scallops on top. I thought it was nice, but the taste was a bit off. I was hungry, so ate them anyways. By the time I got back to my hotel, I was feeling a bit dizzy. I had 2 oz. of Maker's Mark, but I won't be it. As a matter of fact, I thought that a bit of bourbon may disinfect any bacteria. Boy, was I wrong. I had to lay down because my head was spinning, but as soon as I hit the pillow, I had to run to the bathroom where I spent the rest of the evening throwing up. I called the restaurant that night but nobody was picking up. I called them again in the morning and they were very indifferent to my complaint. They said that my meal was not supposed to have any scallops... They promised to call me back. Never heard from them again. Proceed at your own risk! If I could give them a negative, it would be -5.

Roy's Restaurant Review:
The San Francisco outpost of this widespread chain of Hawaiian Fusion restaurants (started by chef Roy Yamaguchi in Honolulu in 1988) features a wide dining room complete with a high-energy exhibition kitchen, bar and lounge, and an intimate mezzanine for quieter dining. Tables are outfitted in white; a sweeping, island-themed mural adds softened color. The vibe is after-hours corporate---lots...
