$100 Meal & Stomach Distress:
This is final time dining at Rue Noir. Regular bread and butter was brought to the table. When we asked if it was gluten free (we are both gluten intolerant) they said no and asked if we wanted to try the Polenta. After removing the bread and bringing the polenta we tried it and it was pasty and gelatinous in texture and truly inedible.
Next came the crabmeat cocktail appetizer which was literally 2 bites of crabmeat for $12.00. We ordered steaks for our meals and one of the steaks was good while the other was ordered medium well and came out well done and charred. The baked potato was barely warm and the spinach was cold. Mac & cheese has ham in it and it is not listed on menu. Got home and did not feel well. $100 later we will not return.
