Rick Camac, a partner in the Fatty Crab kingdom, has joined with other partners, including his son Jesse, to open this izakaya-style restaurant. Casual food (often small plates) defines a menu divided into categories: snacks, skewered items, tempura, raw and “for sharing.” The chef, Chris Whaley, worked in San Francisco. — Florence Fabricant
