Great... for the area:
Someone wrote that you need to be in the cleaning business... mine wasn't that bad, just what you would expect to be dirty was, like behind the fridge, under the stove, around the washing machines... But my stove was practically sparkling! I'm a bit of a clean freak so I was going to clean everything no matter what it looked like and wasn't expecting the place to meet my cleaning expectations.
As far as the checkout list goes, yeah it's a bit intense but they have the prices and expectations all listed out for you, you don't abide I guess at least you know the results.
My biggest comment, sorry locals, is that the people in the area are disgusting with terrible habits. People just leave bags of garbage sitting outside their doors for days. I don't want you attracting bugs and rodents so that I can deal with them, my apartment smells of bleach to deter them but that's hard to do with 3 bags of garbage outside basking in the sun for days on end.
Landlords are nice and quick to fix things. The only problem is that the water lines within the individual buildings must be connected because if one water heater is broke they turn off all the water within the building. They try to give a fair warning but they also try to fix it ASAP for the tenants so they may only be able to give a couple hours heads-up so keep your number current for them to let you know.
PS the walls are thin, but luckily tenants are really nice and its in the lease to be relatively quiet in respect of your neighbors.
