Best taxi service:
I didn't want to write a review until I've used Lucky 7 for a while. It has been 4 months, and more than 15 rides now. All of the trips have been to and from SJC, to my home in San Jose.
Their cabs have generally been newer models, clean, and are pleasant to be in. I make sure to make the reservations for both the drop-off at SJC, and the pick-up. Lucky7 will keep track of your flight, provided you enter the information upon reservation. When I land, I usually get a text message almost instantly upon powering up my phone. Depending on whether you're arriving in terminal A or B, they'll park in either the shuttle area, or the pre-arranged waiting area.
For pick-ups from my home, they always call half-an-hour in advance to confirm their arrival, and make sure everything will proceed as planned. Usually, they're at my door 5~10 minutes early.
This is in steep contrast to the occasional instances when I've had to catch random cabs at SJC. You never know who you're going to get, or what sort of condition their cabs are in. Lucky7 provides me with a reliable and known quantity; something I value highly for all of my business trips.
The best part is, they always accept credit cards, even American Express. Never once did they seem hesitant or complain, unlike some others.
Tip:
When making reservations for a pick-up from SJC, make sure to include the flight information so they can track it, and wait for you at the appropriate terminal.
